datatypes got Early results from balloting for IMAGE enhancements showed date/time datatypes as the number two requested enhancement for IMAGE/SQL, not surprising when you consider how much attention Year 2000 work is getting. The top enhancement request remained unchanged from 1997: customers still want CSY to bundle an ODBC API that connects clients to TurboIMAGE natively, without any Allbase concepts in the loop. CSY has said it’s unlikely to do this while three companies are making a living by selling you that solution. Other Top 10 items in order were the
