Nishimoto wins HP Womens Conference award
HP e3000 Internet and Interoperability expert
Alvina Nishimoto earned honors from Hewlett-Packard recently, winning
the Entrepreneurial/Business Achievement Award from The HP
Womens Conference. Nishimoto was one of just four HP female
employees so honored.
The award is
presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to
Hewlett-Packard in the areas of new business opportunities for HP,
its customers and external partners. HP reported that Nishimoto
is constantly scanning the horizon to understand how HP can
creatively look for innovative ways to deliver new solutions, how
customers can grow their business and maintain loyalty to HP, and how
partners can thrive and help to complete the HP solution. Alvina is a
very special individual. Her drive and desire, combined with her
natural business and technical ability have made her a critical asset
to HP. Alvina always has the HP end-customer in mind. She defines how
to enhance the overall customer solution and how to solve customer
problems.
Nishimoto has also
received the 1998 Outstanding Hewlett-Packard Contributor award
presented by Interex. The Womens Conference noted that
the key fact is that Alvina is committed to the total customer
experience, and has no boundaries on what she can do to meet customer
needs. Alvina is always looking for opportunities to pull partners
together to enhance each others offerings. This has enabled
partners to leverage the existing ecosystem, resulting in richer
solutions and increased business opportunities.
