| Newest Samba works its way through
beta
That Samba version that’s two years newer than the one in MPE/iX 6.0 is making its way through beta test as of presstime. The Samba/iX Web site will have a Beta 1 version of Samba 1.9.18p10 shortly, reports Samba guru Joe Geiser. “Encrypted passwords get fixed first, and then we'll release the binaries for Beta 1. We will release binaries only during the beta - again, to maintain a stable set of source code while bugs are fixed.
