The first Express release for MPE/iX 6.0 cleared Manufacturing Release in late July, and HP said it will make first customer shipments in the week of August 26. Express 1 is notable for delivering the HP JDBC drivers to link IMAGE/SQL databases to Java applications, plus the latest Y2K patches, along with official Java/iX support.
