HPs fixed the
VPlus enhancements for Y2K dates with a new patch
HP released a patch to
fix the VPlus VSETNEXTCENTURY problem and the constant
$TODAY, after an earlier
attempt to fix the software had bugs in it. Patch VPLKXR3E fixes problems
related to the VPlus Year 2000 enhancements, so now VPlus supports
4-character date forms, and 4-digit years in dates are accepted without
separators. A new method of interpretation of 2-digit year values is also
supported with the enhancement. The patch replaces VPLJXG3A, is available
from HP Electronic Response Center, and should be in PowerPatch 1 for
MPE/iX 6.0.
