HPs top
marketeer has left the building
After a year of
submerging individual product brands like the e3000 in favor of
promoting the HP corporate brand, the companys chief marketer
left in mid-August. Nick Earle hadnt landed in his new post as
of presstime, but a Ziff Davis publication reported he was headed for
a job with one of HPs e-services partners in Europe. Earle was
chief architect of HPs marketing push behind e-services, and
the HP Invent campaign began on his watch as well. HP
communication reps said that the strategy over the last year was
an attempt to help with HPs branding and improve our
one face to the customer look." |
