The promotion runs through July 31, and covers a trade-in of HP 3000 Series 967, 977, 987, 987/150 or 987/200 servers along with a purchase of a new HP e3000 Series 979KS/x00,989KS/x00 or 989KS/x50 system. Resellers like Computer Solutions, which posted a note on the Internet about the Fling, can offer up to 40 percent Combined User License Savings: 9x7-to-9x9KS Upgrade Savings of 15 to 28 percent, plus HP’s “Trade-Up 2000” Server and User License Rebates, for combined savings.
