Lund
and Open Seas put performance on stage in Europe next month
HP e3000 software vendor Open Seas, in conjunction with its partner Lund Performance Solutions, is holding a two-day seminar March 5-6 focused on managing the performance of the e3000. Day one of the event at the Oxford Hotel in Oxford trains users in monitoring, managing and increasing the performance of the system. HP presents its road map for the performance of future systems and how these compare to the those available today. Day two offers advanced MPE performance, targeted at those with several years MPE experience, or Windows 2000/NT performance and storage area networking. Tools provider and consultant CSL will also deliver a seminar called Art of the Possible, which covers the use of the the 3000s Apache Web server, linking existing e3000 applications to Web based systems, and dynamic connections to non-3000 applications using the new BridgeMaster utility. A workshop area will offer a chance to see some of the software tools used to manage and report the performance of MPE, HP-UX and NT systems. At £59 per person per day, the event is priced for even a budget-sensitive e3000 manager. European customers can contact Open Seas for more information and to register at 01865 744656. Attendee registration at the hotel, 10 minutes from junction 9 off the M40, can be booked directly on 01865 489988; reference number ADVO503. Copyright The 3000 NewsWire. All rights reserved |
