Meetings and conference calls outlined future alternatives

Users of HP 3000 manufacturing, healthcare and migration products could get fresh information in calls and meetings this month. Transoft Ltd. is hosting a one-day meeting in the UK at HP’s Wood Street offices in London at 9:30 on Nov. 13, with speakers including Dave Wiseman, who co-founded the ScreenJet venture, and HP’s Martin Riley (register at newsolutions@transoft.com, or call Michelle Little on 01753 778000). MANMAN customers in the US can participate in a conference call with SSA-GT on the same day, hosted by the CAMUS user group. SSA-GT is expected to answer questions about its license trade-in plans that would move MANMAN sites to Baan’s software; check the camus.org Web site for details on where that day’s RUG meetings are being held (the call starts at 2 PM EST). Finally, Amisys users will have a technical conference call that includes details on iMaxsoft’s HP 3000 data and application migration products, as well as a 30-minute customer sharing session, on Nov. 17 at 2 PM EST.
