During its most recent Webcast on HP 3000 Transition issues, HP announced a plan to put on one of its presentations during this summer’s HP World conference. The HP briefings have featured the Platinum Migration partners as a chief source of advice and counsel, supplemented by pre-recorded interviews from customers and tools providers, so the remote location of the Webcast won’t change much about that part of the presentation. The interactive Q&A session at the close of the show might well get more lively if HP can arrange to have a “studio audience” of attendees ask questions on the transition advice, however. HP said that customers should look for notice of a Webcast during the week of August 11-14, live from Atlanta.
