HP’s four Platinum Migration partners are all supposed to have unique areas of expertise, but the bottom line on what they’re offering to the 3000 customers remains very similar: guidance and tools for getting the very major project of migration off the ground. A couple of the partners are taking the competition to another level at HP World. Once Speedware made its new DBmotion database migration software available at a $7,500 discount during the show, MB Foster added a new show special $4,995 price for its MBF-UDALinkCentral database migration toolset. The MB Foster pricing will be available for customers who take delivery of the software by December 31.
