Although Cybertel Communications Corp. signed a letter of intent in mid-August to acquire Telenomics, the deal is far from done yet. Cybertel is pursuing the longtime 3000 solution supplier, hoping to become its new corporate backer and merge Telenomics’ PWARE with Cybertel’s growing Voice over Internet (IP) network. Telenomics president Rick Hupe said he’s still watching to make sure he can control the future of his application supplier, which will be offering the first independent e-services product hosted from an HP 3000 starting in November.
