Transoft engages with MB
Foster
HP Platinum migration partner MB Foster (613.448.2333) announced
a partnership with migration tools and services provider Transoft. MB
Foster will use the tools and products from Atlanta-based Transoft in
planning customer transitions away from the HP 3000, said founder
Birket Foster.
With MB Fosters knowledge of the HP
marketplace, migrations and data transformation, combined with
Transofts tools and migration experience, we can present a
highly experienced and motivated team to ensure successful migrations
for our customers.
Transoft has engaged with healthcare application
provider Amisys LLC to port the Amisys/3000 program suite to HP-UX.
The company uses a Legacy Liberator tool suite to transform code in
an automated first step of a migration. Its Transoft Intelligent
Adapters enable existing critical business application functions to
be easily exposed and re-used as application and Web services, to
build new scalable, integrated e-business applications faster and
with less risk.
MB Foster, which has facilitated data
transformation in many HP e3000 sites, will use the Transoft
products to migrate 3000 customers to other Windows or Unix-based
systems.
